I really don’t understand why people send hate to new artists or writers. What do you get out of telling people their work “sucks”? You realise with a little encouragement they’ll keep making content and getting better, right?

All you’re doing by sending hate is ridding the fandom of more content. More contributions. More things for people to enjoy. The artists/writers you love didn’t start out at their current skill level. We all “sucked” once.

Encourage new creators! Show a little kindness. It’s the right thing to do. They’re trying really hard and deserve to be praised for their efforts, regardless of what you think of their art. They’ll never improve if you make them feel so terrible about their skills that they just stop.
